We are seeking an experienced functional/technical SAP ECC 6.0 consultant to support the design, build, and deployment of integrations between SAP ECC 6.0 and Coupa as part of a Procure-to-Pay (P2P) implementation.
This role is responsible for delivering production-ready integrations covering Purchase Requisitions (PRs), Purchase Orders (POs), and Supplier Intake / Supplier Master creation, as well as supporting Coupa Single Sign-On (SSO) using Microsoft Entra ID.
The engagement is delivery-focused and requires strong hands-on development across system integration, SAP data flows, and authentication.
Requirements
- Proven hands-on experience delivering Coupa integrations with SAP ECC 6.0.
- Strong understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes and data flows, including detailed mapping of procurement and spend data fields and tables.
- SAP ECC technical experience, including:
- IDocs,
- BAPIs / RFCs,
- ABAP-based integration objects (development or support).
- Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and data transformation.
- Working experience implementing or supporting SSO integrations, including:
- SAML 2.0,
- Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD),
- MFA (Microsoft Authenticator).
- Prior experience supporting ERP or procurement system implementations.
Nice to have
- Experience integrating SAP ECC with third-party procurement or analytics platforms beyond core ERP (e.g. Ariba, Tableau, or similar tools).
- Prior Coupa implementation or post-implementation optimization engagements.
- Experience with middleware platforms (e.g., SAP CPI, MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, PI/PO).
- Experience supporting supplier onboarding governance and master data controls.
- Familiarity with SOX-controlled financial environments.
- Experience in global or multi-entity SAP landscapes.
Responsibilities
- Perform detailed functional and technical mapping of SAP ECC 6.0 procurement data, including:
- Purchase Requisition,
- Purchase Orders,
- Vendor / Supplier master data,
- Related configuration tables and custom objects.
- Analyze SAP ECC 6.0 payment and spend-related tables and fields and provide recommendations for low-code or API-based integration into data visualization and analytics tools (e.g. Tableau).
- Document field-level mappings and data ownership in preparation for integration with third-party procurement platforms (e.g. Coupa).
- Design and implement Coupa ↔ SAP ECC 6.0 integrations for:
- Purchase Requisitions (PRs),
- Purchase Orders (POs),
- Supplier intake, onboarding, and supplier master creation.
- Build and support inbound and outbound interfaces using APIs, IDocs, BAPIs, or middleware platforms.
- Configure and support Coupa SSO using Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), including SAML-based authentication and MFA (Microsoft Authenticator).
- Define and document interface architecture, data mappings, and error-handling logic.
- Partner with internal Procurement, Finance, AP, and IT teams to validate requirements and integration behavior.
- Support testing phases (SIT, UAT), cutover activities, and post-go-live stabilization.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration, data, or authentication issues in pre-production and production environments.
- Ensure integrations align with SOX controls, audit requirements, and enterprise security standards.
- Advise stakeholders on best practices for SAP data extraction, integration patterns, and reporting enablement.
