PowerBi Engineer

Project decription

In this position you will be responsible for design, development, and maintenance of Microsoft Power BI solution for the Retail Lottery BI team. It involves collaborating with business units to gather requirements, transforming data into actionable insights, and working with the Quality team to ensure requirements were achieved.

Requirements:

• 5-10 years of proven work experience with Power BI development 
• Expert understanding of PowerBI Premium platform including workspaces, deployment pipelines, dataset creation and maintenance; data hub exploration, PowerBI desktop and Report Builder Client Tools 
• Proven experience in developing complex Power BI solutions is required 
• Proven experience in the use of ALM Toolkit and Visual Studio or Tabular Editor 
• Strong understanding of DAX Studio and Power Query to support data analysis and similar functions 
• Expert understanding of Microsoft Excel and integration points with Power BI 
• Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills 
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships 
• Excellent communication skills are required
