GitHub Architect

This role will focus on providing guidance for the implementation of a comprehensive GitHub governance and management strategy.

Requirements:

• Proficiency with Git and GitHub: The candidate should have a strong understanding of version control systems, particularly Git, and be comfortable navigating GitHub’s interface, APIs, and features (e.g., GitHub Actions, pull requests, issues, etc.).
• Knowledge of Software Development: A background in software development or DevOps would be beneficial. Understanding how code is written, reviewed, and deployed is crucial for analyzing development processes and suggesting improvements.
• Familiarity with CI/CD Tools: Experience with continuous integration and deployment pipelines would help in monitoring and optimizing GitHub workflows.

Experience and Background:

• Previous Experience: Experience in roles like DevOps Engineer, Software Development Analyst, or Technical Project Manager would be well-positioned for this role. Experience working in an agile development environment would also be a plus.
• Understanding of GitHub Ecosystem: Familiarity with GitHub’s various tools (such as GitHub Actions, GitHub Marketplace integrations, and security features) would be valuable for optimizing workflows and enhancing automation.
