Azure Optimization Engineer

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role, focusing on Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of Azure services, including compute, storage, networking, and security.
• Experience with cost management and optimization tools in Azure.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using tools like PowerShell, Azure CLI, or ARM templates.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to have:

• Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator)
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with other cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud)

As a Cloud Engineer, you will evaluate our existing Azure environment, recommend improvements, and implement solutions to enhance performance and reduce costs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and analyze the current Azure cloud infrastructure to identify areas for optimization.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and performance of cloud resources.
• Identify and recommend cost-saving opportunities within the Azure environment.
• Monitor and manage cloud resource usage to ensure optimal performance and cost-effectiveness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure features, best practices, and industry trends.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders.
