Job Description:
| We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a background in technical English (e.g. technical translation/localization/internationalization, the creation of technical documentation, requirements engineering or software solution analysis). The role involves working with our lottery clients and engineering teams to ensure customizations of the product made for a specific customer are fit for purpose and meet contractual obligations. The candidate will oversee the development of product customizations for a lottery customer from start to finish, working to elicit and identify business requirements, identify new functionality and enhancements, negotiate scope and subsequently assist the engineering team in delivering a solution that meets customer needs. They will also make sure the customizations are documented in a consistent way so that they can be fed back to the base product. |
Responsibilities:
- Customer Demonstrations – Conduct product demonstrations and workshops as part of the requirements management process.
- Requirements Elicitation – Gather and understand requirements from various sources: technical documentation, formal proposals and contracts, and stakeholders (including customers, end users, and internal business stakeholders).
- Requirements Analysis – Analyze the gathered requirements to ensure they are clear, complete, consistent, and testable.
- Requirements Specification – Document the analyzed requirements in a clear and concise format, often in a Functional Requirements Document, leveraging standard tools such as Word, Polarion X or Jira.
- Requirements Management – Track and manage changes to requirements throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Collaboration – Work closely with other team members, including product managers, product owners, developers, and testers, to ensure a shared understanding of the product requirements for the delivery.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication (English C2), presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across business and technology organizations.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under moderate supervision.
- Ability to proofread the work of colleagues and identify discrepancies.
- Ability to travel internationally (up to 20% of time).
- Ability to work across multiple time zones internationally if required.
