PostgreSQL Database Administrator (DBA)

Project:

We are looking for our client is looking for a DBA to support production systems for lottery & online casino products.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Administering Postgresql DB in production
• Configuring DB monitoring and maintenance procedures
• Keeping DevOps scripts up-to-date
• Performance Tuning
• Configuring and scheduling data purging procedures
• Troubleshooting in production and lower environments
• Establish Guidelines and Best Practices to be adopted by Applications Engineering

Required Skills:

• 5+ years experience as DB Administrator and at least 3 specifically on PostgreSQL database
• Postgresql DB Administration
• Postgresql replication and failover
• Autovacum tuning
• Query optimization
• Postgresql monitoring
• The professional must be familiar with public cloud architectures and operations and particularly with Microsoft Azure and its PostgreSQL-managed service called Flexible Server.
