Duties and responsibilities

  • Participate in customer workshops and requirements planning meetings with product managers, ADMs, product specialists and architects.
  • Be responsible for capturing business requirements from customers and documenting them for final sign-off.
  • Develop functional specification documents with user journeys, user stories, data flows, sequence diagrams and Editorial requirements for web applications.
  • Act as a liaison between business customers and digital development teams on web-based projects.
  • Produce user stories, wireframes and functional specification documents for development teams to understand project requirements.
  • Develop standard reports based on key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Provide integrated marketing analytics solutions across digital channels to improve client decision making.
  • Understand and evaluate the technical constraints (if any) when discussing proposed solutions and be able to quickly identify them so that they can be addressed in project design.
  • Understand the product features and functionality in detail and be able to discuss these with clients.
  • Manage issues and risks related to requirements.
  • Have exposure to digital marketing and technology; including web analytics, email marketing, search marketing, social media, and conversion marketing.

Requeirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with additional education/training in a business functional area or equivalent. 
  • 3+ years of industry experience documenting requirements in a customer-facing role in a related field.
  • Familiarity with standard project management principles and practices.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Good understanding of usability/interaction design is a plus.
