Our client is looking for a DBA to support production systems for lottery & online casino products.
You are a perfect candidate if you have experience with:
- Postgresql DB Administration.
- Postgresql replication and failover.
- Autovacum tuning.
- Query optimization.
- Postgresql monitoring.
- Public cloud architectures and operations (particularly with Microsoft Azure and its PostgreSQL managed service called Flexible Server).
Your responsibilities will include:
- Administering Postgresql DB in production.
- Configuring DB monitoring and maintenance procedures.
- Keeping DevOps scripts up-to-date.
- Performance tuning.
- Configuring and scheduling data purging procedures.
- Troubleshooting in production and lower environments.
- Establish guidelines and best practices to be adopted by applications engineering.
