DBA PostgreSQL

Project:

Our client is looking for a DBA. In this position you will master highly available distributed in the cloud Postgres systems for our gaming products. You rapidly adapt several environments and troubleshoot complex technical problems under pressure with your highly skilled colleagues across different timezones. Your good interpersonal communication skills in English help you to do excellent work as valued member of your team.

Responsibilities:

• Ownership of several Postgres environments.
• Research and development of new technologies.
• Basic maintenance and routine tasks on daily basis.
• Optimization of database design for performance and sustainability.
• Development and maintenance projects in coordination with global teams.
• Support during failover, backup and restore and similar adverse situation

Required Skills:

• Relevant industry experience.
• BS in Computer Science or related.
• Proven track record in approach to systems architecture, performance tuning, backup and recovery, high availability and scalability.
• Experience with Postgres and Azure Cloud 
• Able to work flexible hours
