Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for the design, deployment and troubleshooting of Enterprise IT systems and solutions. 

  • Lead the delivery of IT projects within the organization.
  • Help develop and implement project plans, risk assessments and contingency
  • plans.
  • Develop sophisticated system standards and recommend improvements to
  • enhance performance.
  • Define and document best practices and support procedures.
  • Assist with hardware, software, and vendor evaluation.
  • Perform research, troubleshoot, and provide resolution to complex issues for new
  • system technologies, on prem and cloud-based, in physical and virtual
  • deployments.
  • Carry out special tasks at Management’s direction.
  • Interact with staff and other peer groups at the technical level, as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • On-call duty once a week every two months.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science (or related area); an advanced degree is preferred.
  • 5 years of related experience is required.
  • Microsoft Certifications (MCSE) or equivalent certification in relevant programs desired.
  • General knowledge of Windows Server (2008 – 2019).
  • General knowledge of Microsoft Application Servers and technologies.
  • Microsoft modern management experience.
  • A solid understanding of core networking, operating systems and troubleshooting concepts.
  • General knowledge about Group Policy design and configuration.
  • General knowledge about Microsoft 365/Office 365/ Azure/ Intune expertise (MS Cloud) with all services required.
  • Experience with scripting languages like PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automation tasks.
  • A good understanding of core networking, operating systems and troubleshooting concepts.
  • General knowledge about Active Directory/LDAP user and group administration services.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies like VMware or Hyper-V.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Flexible and able to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
  • Must be organized and have the ability to manage projects of varying length.
  • Positive, self-motivated individual who can complete tasks independently.
  • Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-based environment.
  • Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resources.

Nice to have:

  • Experience in global deployments and rollouts of new technologies.
  • Knowledge and some experience in AI areas like machine learning, AI engineering, Data engineering/scientist.
