Junior Business Analyst / Requirements Engineer

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior who is eager to learn and grow in the field of business analysis and requirements engineering, and who is open to an approximately 6-month onboarding, as this role requires training and knowledge transfer before becoming fully independent.
Requirements
- Excellent communication (English C2), presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across business and technology organizations.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under moderate supervision.
- Ability to proofread the work of colleagues and identify discrepancies.
- Ability to travel internationally occasionally (up to 20% of time).
- Ability to work across multiple time zones if required occasionally.
Nice to have
- Ability to come to the office in Warsaw 2–3 times per week during the onboarding period.
Responsibilities
- Customer Demonstrations – Conduct product demonstrations and workshops as part of the requirements management process.
- Requirements Elicitation – Gather and understand requirements from various sources: technical documentation, formal proposals and contracts, and stakeholders (including customers, end users, and internal business stakeholders). This includes identifying business needs, functional enhancements, and aligning scope with contractual obligations.
- Requirements Analysis – Analyze the gathered requirements to ensure they are clear, complete, consistent, and testable, and that they are aligned with the customer’s expectations and project goals.
- Requirements Specification – Document the analyzed requirements in a clear and concise format, often in a Functional Requirements Document, leveraging standard tools such as Word, Polarion X or Jira, so that they can also be integrated back into the base product where applicable.
- Requirements Management – Track and manage changes to requirements throughout the software development lifecycle, ensuring traceability and alignment with evolving project needs.
- Collaboration – Work closely with clients, product managers, product owners, developers, and testers to ensure shared understanding of the product requirements and smooth delivery. This includes overseeing the full lifecycle of customer-specific product customizations and supporting engineering teams in implementing tailored solutions that meet client needs.
