Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our Cloud Operations team. This role will focus on building and managing multi-cloud infrastructure, with a strong emphasis on Azure and AWS. You will be responsible for designing, deploying, and optimizing cloud environments, ensuring scalability, security, and operational excellence. This is one of the first DevOps roles within our Cloud DevOps function, so the ability to document processes, manage infrastructure deployments, and collaborate across teams is critical.

Requirements:

• 7+ years in DevOps or Cloud Engineering roles.
• Expert-level experience with Azure and AWS services.
• Strong hands-on experience with AKS and EKS in production environments.
• Advanced proficiency in Terraform (coding, modules, state management).
• Skilled in managing IaC pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Solid scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with observability tools: Datadog, Dynatrace, Prometheus.

• Managed PostgreSQL services (AWS RDS, Azure Database for PostgreSQL)
• Strong understanding of networking, security, and cloud architecture best practices.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with GCP and GKE.
• Familiarity with serverless architectures (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions).
• Exposure to service mesh (Istio, Linkerd).

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for multi-cloud deployments (Azure, AWS; GCP is a plus)
• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform (must have advanced coding skills).
• Build and optimize AKS and EKS clusters for containerized workloads.
• Automate provisioning, configuration, and scaling of cloud resources.
• Ensure observability using tools like Datadog, Dynatrace, and Prometheus.
• Manage and optimize infrastructure deployments for performance and cost efficiency.
• Create and maintain clear documentation for processes, standards, and architectures.
• Implement security best practices across cloud environments.
• Collaborate with cloud platform and application teams to ensure infrastructure supports business requirements while aligning to governing standards.
