SharePoint Developer

We are looking for a part time SharePoint Developer who can assist in maintaining our internal procurement site. It’s a site to add vendors into the system. This person will be involved in enhancements and bug fixes of the site. The main skill to have it SharePoint online. If they are strong in that, they are probably a good fit. 6 month contractMay start off with 40 hours but will lower after a while to 10-20 hours.

As SharePoint developer you will help maintain and update a tool based on SharePoint framework (SPfx) with React, which is used by our client employees worldwide to help with the complex supplier onboarding process. This tool helps to fulfill clients requirements to operate in a highly regulated global environment and those regulations and standards — including the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation, business ethics and regulatory compliance.

In this role, you will closely work together with different internal departments like Indirect Procurement, as well as Legal, and others. You will have to implement some tool updates, optimizations and perform troubleshooting. Reports to Project lead and Project Manager.

Requirements:

  • Extensive knowledge of Sharepoint framework (SPfx) and React
  • Extensive understanding of UI/UX
  • Understanding MS Power Automate
  • Good English skills
  • Team player qualities

Responsibilities:

  • Works closely with Indirect Procurement and other effective departments Does regular workshops to get all necessary information and all the requirements
  • Learns and understands the existing framework of the tool and the overall architecture
  • Works with SPfx and React to build components, implement the updates, optimize code as well as performance, and perform the troubleshooting
  • Does function tests together with the project team
  • Is available for questions and suggestions from the project team and the users
